We called Peterson Grading and Rick Peterson responded quickly, coming out to our property, told us a little about his company, looked over the scope of work and gave his recommendations. The grading looks perfect! These guys know what they are doing! They also demolished and hauled off an old shed for me as well. I do not know what to say other then "OUT OF THIS WORLD WORK" Mr Rick, Mr Shaun and Mr Reese did a phenomenal job grading my property correctly as it should've been done in 2017! The fellows approached every aspect down to the mere inch of their work; correcting the grading (as the builder should have 6yrs ago when building this home) as if this were their home. The years of detailed excellent expertise that Peterson Grading guarantees is exceptional, including a free crash course on the basics of grading, drainage, swells and water remediation; even the receptionist Shannon is outstanding and ensures customers are able to contact the staff and their needs are taken care of. My 500 foot winding, rocky and barely graveled driveway needed a new layer of gravel, particularly on a steep slope that kept washing out during heavy rains. After 2.5 years of dealing with hauling/grading companies who either didn’t return my calls, couldn’t do the work, or couldn’t make a firm schedule commitment, I found Peterson Grading. Rick Peterson came out to look at my driveway as promised. He gave me a price and firm date for doing the work. Rick and Shaun (his son) showed up on time and by the end of the day, my driveway was re-graveled and packed to stabilize the new material. After purchasing his first home, my son quickly discovered that heavy rains would flood his crawl space and would cut ruts into his gravel driveway. I hired Rick Peterson to correct these major issues, and we could not be more pleased with the results. He reshaped the ground contour on the side of the home and the entire back yard, and he also brought in loads of dirt. He installed a new swell along the left rear of the property which properly rerouted the water about 225 feet to the driveway area. He also refurbished the driveway with 5 loads of stone and installed ADS pipe to insure proper water flow. I waited to write this review to see how things worked out. It has been over a year since this work was done, and I am pleased to say that his work stands the test of time!! Rick Peterson is very knowledgeable, and he takes the time to go over the plans with his customers so that there are no surprises. He was prompt getting the project scheduled and completed. He is professional, honest, and is very willing to take the time to explain everything that needed to be done and how he would correct the concerns. What they tell you it is going to take and how long it is going to take is exactly what happens. They will work to get the job done on time and guarantee their work. Their quote is the price you pay, no add on or extra hidden costs. Rick even delayed installing the drainpipe at the end of the road until after the heavy equipment finished their work to prevent damaging the pipe. I would recommend them and use them again. When contractors don't return your calls, you can count on Rick to be responsive every time.
